CHARISMATIC LEADERSHIP FORMATION IN BRENTWOOD
Alice Hall and Neil Hughes of the Sion Community are running
a part-time course in Charismatic Leadership Formation over
eight months from October 2006. The course consists of one
weekend a month for the eight months: six teaching weekends
and two optional retreat weekends. It will cover topics ranging
from ourselves as leaders and our giftedness, the history
of renewal in the Church, understanding of the Holy Spirit
and charismatic spirituality, practical leadership skills,
and much more! The course aims to provide an experience of
community and journeying together during the year. For details

NEW DAWN CONFERENCE
Congratualtions to Myles Dempsey and all those who make the
New Dawn Conference happen every year! Up to 3000 people have
been descending on the Shrine of Our Lady in Walsingham for
New Dawn every year for the first week of August for the last
20 years! As Myles says: "my vision is to bring together
all the riches of the Catholic faith, so the beauty of the
Church will be seen in all aspects!"

Do remember this wonderful initiative to provide an alternative
to the normal Halloween celebrations and celebrate All Hallows

EXCITING NEW CaFE COURSE AVAILABLE OCTOBER!
The much awaited First Holy Communion and Reconciliation Course
for Parents will be launched by the CaFE team in October.
This challenging four part series for parishes and schools
will inspire parents of children preparing for First Holy
Communion and Reconciliation. Presented in the same lively
style as their very popular Baptism course it encourages parents
to think about their own faith and the value of the Sacraments
in their lives as well as equipping them to help their children.
As many parishes are now planning their First Holy Communion

DUBLIN CHARISM SCHOOL
This November Cor et Lumen Christi will be runninq their very
popular charism school in Dublin 9th-l2th November 2006 (venue
probably at All Hallows College, but to be confirmed). Teams
from the community, led by Damian Stayne have travelled all
over the world over the last few years runninq the schools,
which train people throuqh teachinq and practical workshops

POTTA PRIESTS COMING BACK TO SOUTHWARK IN SEPTEMBER
Two years ago, Fr Auguistine Valtooran VC from the Divine
Retreat Centre in Potta, led a 5 day retreat in St George's
Cathedral in Southwark. This September he is bringing several
other members of India's largest and most famous retreat centre
for a three day retreat, again at St George's, from13th-15th
September. The days will start ait 10am, (with a break at
noon, when the regular cathedral Mass takes place) and finish
at 5pm. The team will include Fr Matthew Naidkomparambil VC,
the founder of Potto innuinistries and Fr George Panadkall
VC, who is known for his poweriul healing ministry and Sr
Teresa VarakillamFCC.
