The
Rosary in Pictures
Artist and mystic, Elizabeth Wang, whose paintings we are
using for Fr Raniero's articles on the Mass and whom we will
feature on the cover of Goodnews starting next month, for a
year; is currently exhibiting 20 of her paintings, which illustrate
the decades I the rosary including the new mysteries of Light.
The exhibition, which runs until 31st May is at the Church of
Notre Dame de France off Leicester Square.The Church is open
from 9.30 am to 7.30 pm and entrance is free. On 10* May there
will be a special meditation on the pictures at I 1.30 am, followed
by Mass at 12.30 where the guest preacher will be Fr Aidan Nichols

simple and inspiring booklets about the Catholic Faith, is looking

Re-discovering the Rosary Movement
Timothy Tindal-Robertson, the President of the World Apostolate
of Fatima, is launching a Rediscovering the Rosary Movement
He comments, "We believe the rosary is an indispensable
force for peace in the world, for evangelisation, forthe sanctification
of family life and forthe defence ofthe Church against social
evils. Our objective in launching the Rediscovering the Rosary
Movement would be to bring as many Catholics as possible to
pray the Rosary every day according to the inspiring guidelines
set out by the Pope in his recent Apostolic letter Rosarium
Virginis Mariae, and in fulfilment of Our Lady's request at

Charismatics Involved In University Life?
Are you involved in the university world in some way?
The Pope is anxious about the growing secularisation in Europe
and the role universities play in this. Thus the Council of
European Bishops are holding a symposium in Rome I7th-20th July
on the theme of Universities and the Church. Those who would

Media March
Those who would like to take part in annual Media March, which
protests an increasing sex and violence content in our media
today should meet at 1.30^ pm atTothill Street, London SW1 (near
St James's Park tube) on Saturday;' 31st May 2003. Christians
and Muslims are uniting in this. This is a grassroots:. initiative
started by two mothers concerned at what their children were
being exposed to. It now has the support of various family and
religious^ groups including Maranatha, Knights of St Columba
and the Muslim Council of Britain. Those who can't come but
would be willing to sign a petition or, help publicise the march

New Evangelistic Initiative By Catholic
Truth Society
The Catholic Truth Society, which has been greatly energised
and revamped in the last couple of/ears, is behind an imaginative
new evangelisation initiative called "Christianity Pure
and Simple". This consists of a simple gospel tract which
the publishers hope Catholics will buy in large quantities and
distribute to their friends and colleagues. Those who are touched
by the message in .the leaflet will then be given the opportunity
to receive the first of five booklets explaining Christianity,
free of charge.
