Promoting Catholic culture and spirituality

Fr. John Fuellenbach SVD, the highly respected lecturer from The Gregorian University in Rome, led this year’s retreat at Leeds.

Charismatic Retreat for Deacons, Priests and Bishops (2004)

In his eight talks Father John encourages his brothers;

(a) For their own ongoing spiritual growth and (b) for their parish ministry, to focus on the essentials of the teaching of Jesus. He helps them see how they can avoid getting caught up in other traditional but non-essential elements of Catholic spirituality and practice. His reflection on Vatican II, and the Catholic Churches teaching on other faiths is well worth hearing and acting on.
These talks are available on tapes and CD’s are an excellent clarification of the Catholics Church’s reflection on the action of God’s Spirit in the world today.

Talk 1 Introduction to the retreat Talk 5 Jesus the therapist
Talk 2 The true face of God Talk 6 God’s plan and our vocation
Talk 3 God always forgives Talk 7 Discipleship
