COR ET LUMEN CHRISTI COMMUNITY SIGNS AND WONDERS CONFERENCE
Those who have heard about the Cor et Lumen Christi community charism schools that have been taking place all over the UK and which have spread to Europe and Africa, will be interested to learn that they are holding a “Signs and Wonders Conference” at Chertsey, outside London, where the community is based, from 26th-29th November 2004. In the last three years over 16,000 people have witnessed physical healings through the ministry of the community, which has helped reactivate faith in the Catholic Church for God to act in power and for ordinary people to use the charismatic gifts, especially healing. For further details contact Cor et Lumen Christi Community, High.eld House, St John's Way, Chertsey, Surrey KT16 8BZ

NEW DAWN SPREADING
The spirit of the New Dawn conference is spreading. A New Dawn Day was held at Ladye Park, Liskeard, an ancient marian shrine in Cornwall on 12th September. One hundred people gathered to sing and praise God. Some had no exposure to Catholic Charismatic Renewal, but were won over by the preaching of Myles Dempsey and the rousing music. Fr Michael Gwinnell was the main celebrant at the Mass. The event was seen as part of the ful.lment of the prophecy received at New Dawn a few years ago about New Dawn spreading to marian sites round the country as part of the spiritual renewal of England. The next New Dawn Day at Liskeard will be 5th June 2005.
Meanwhile in January next year, 2005, there will be another New Dawn conference at Mbarara in Uganda. Those who have never been to Africa and would like to experience New Dawn-African style are invited to go and participate. Contact Gloria Nobbs for further details. (see coming events - healing.)

Please Help Goodnews
Although we have increased the number of pages from 24 to 36 and now have a full colour glossy cover Goodnews has not increased its subscription price since 2001. We rely on donations to cover its costs. The bigger the circulation the smaller the cost per magazine. You can help us in a number of ways either by sending a donation or by taking out a gift subscription for someone else – perhaps as a Christmas gift. We usually .nd that people who receive gift subscriptions renew themselves the following year. Or you could resolve simply to encourage others to buy Goodnews, either recommending it to your friends or by acting as a sale/return agent in your parish. Please pray for us. Contact Gabriele 020 7352 5298.

CELEBRATE AUSTRIA GROWS
The second Austrian Celebrate Conference (inspired by the English version down in Ilfracombe in Devon) took place this summer at Schladming, a mountain ski-resort (22nd-28th August). A thousand people took part, double the numbers from the .rst one in 2002. Nearly half of the participants were under 17. The event was a mixture, as at the English Celebrate, of fun, prayer and teaching with talks, seminars and workshops, worship, music and drama. There was a special programme for children and teens and a strong ecumenical dimension. Charles and Sue Whitehead were among this year’s speakers. The organisers, Hans-Peter and Verena Lang commented, “The feedback was really overwhelming”. They have booked the same venue for the last week in August in 2006. Celebrate England will take place during Easter week 2005. As usual it is fully booked Cancellations only.
