THE SPIRITUAL LIFE IN PICTURES
Elizabeth Wang, the artist and mystic, who has produced some wonderful covers for Goodnews in the past, is having an exhibition of her paintings at the French Church (5 Leicester Place WC2) just off Leicester Square in central London from 23rd June to 5th September. It is called "Journey into Prayer: the Spiritual life in pictures". The exhibition is free and the church is open every day from 9.30am to 7.30pm. Exhibition is closed during services. Further info from the web site www.radiantlight.org.uk

SPREAD THE WORD!
A retired Devon couple, Sonia and Geoffrey Archer, are stepping out in faith this autumn and are planning a day on evangelisation on 17th September at Shebbear College in North Devon with John Vaughan Neil. The one day programme called "Spread the Word", helps encourage and enable people to step out and evangelise in the way that suits them.

CELEBRATE WILL HAPPEN IN 2006!

The ever popular Celebrate, the annual Easter Catholic Family Conference in Ilfracombe, will take place at the same site in 2006. There were fears that, with the current changes afoot nationally over school terms, the college, which the conference uses, would not be available during the Easter week. But this will not be the case, at least in 2006. The changing of term times, however, will mean that some school holidays will no longer co-incide with Celebrate. This will mean those who perhaps haven't been able to get to Celebrate before, will be able to do so in 2006. Because of the exceptionally high demand for places, however, its important to book as soon as possible. If you are interested in attending in 2006 please send your name and address to Celebrate, Open House, Bullstrode Way, Gerards Cross, Bucks SL9 7QU and you will be sent an application form in the autumn mailout.

PENTECOST NOVENA CARDS
One of the ways to prepare for Pentecost is to recite the Pentecost prayer of Pope John XXIII with which he prepared for the Second Vatican Council by asking the Holy Spirit for a new Pentecost. Cards with the prayer available from Goodnews, price £10 for 100 including postage - ideal for parishes and prayer groups. We also have a lovely prayer to the Holy Spirit composed by Fr Pat Collins CM, which is also very popular and costs the same price.
Write to Goodnews, Allen Hall, 28 Beaufort Street, London SW3 5AA.
Cheques made payable to CREW Trust.

BOB GELDOF AT THE CATHEDRAL!
This May several leading Catholic politicians and thinkers, including Bob Geldof, the former rock star and third world campaigner, have been invited by Cardinal Cormac Murphy O'Connor to speak on the subject of Faith in Europe in a series of lectures at Westminster Cathedral. All lectures, which start at 7pm, are free but by ticket only.
