Something New in Wales? It is becoming apparent that something new is happening in Wales and particularly with the National Service Team. We have just had our first retreat at the NSC head office at the Cardiff Pastoral Centre. It was also the first one where all the activities, including talks, workshops and personal ministry and healing service was all in house with no external speakers. And the first where we relied on donations only. There was a real feeling of excitement and that the Lord was preparing the team for something special in Wales. Between 20-40 people came along to the events over the three days with excellent feedback. In addition to this 6 people have offered their time and skills to help support the new NSC office and its activities. The process for discerning how the office will support the renewal in Wales has begun. The volunteers will be invited for further discussion to explore these possibilities. The retreat was the first of more, the next of
which has already been planned for 24th-25th June 2006.
