Three exciting events are happening over the
same weekend in July (12th-13th). So do make time for one
of them. They are the Men’s weekend at Woldingham in
Surrey, always a very popular event. The Miracle Rally with
Damian Stayne, Fr Pat Collins CM and Fr Bernard Murphy CFR
at the Friends Meeting House, Euston, London and one of the
last Celebrate Weekends in Brighton. (See coming events for

NEW SEARCH ENGINE FOR SEARCHING USEFUL CATHOLIC QUOTES
Peter Berners Lee, who works for CaFE, is something
of a computer boffin. In his spare time he has been working
on a search engine to help those wanting to know more about
their Catholic faith. FaithKnowledge.org is a search engine
for people looking for that elusive quote or what has been
said authoritatively in Church documents such as the Cathechism,
or the teaching of the Popes or the Councils of the Church.
Unlike most other search engines you can target where you
want to search. Peter comments, “I hope people will find
it useful. I know it’s a resource I wish that I’d
had, particularly when I was studying for my theology degree.”
ICCRS HEALING EVENT IN FLORIDA WITH FRANCIS MCNUTT
Those interested in the healing ministry and
who would like to sit at the feet of Francis McNutt, one of
most respected practitioners of the Christian healing ministry

MGR PETER HOCKEN TO LAUNCH NEW INTERNATIONAL ECUMENICAL
CENTRE IN AUSTRIA
Mgr Peter Hocken is setting up a Catholic centre
for the promotion of Christian unity in Austria where he is
currently living. This will be a centre of prayer, teaching
and formation, particularly for young people. To help achieve
this an association called Mysterium Christi was set up last
year. A suitable property has now been bought and Fr Peter
is asking those who would like to support the ministry, to

the Mother of God Community Trust, is willing to receive such

CONGRATULATIONS MICHELLE!
Michelle Moran, the chairperson of the English
NSC, and the current President of ICCRS was appointed to the
Pontifical Council for the Laity on 27th April 2008. This
is a huge honour and a sign of the growing significance and
influence of the CCR at the Vatican. Matteo Calisis, the president
of the Catholic Fraternity of Charismatic Covenant Communities
and Associations has also been appointed a member. There are
15 members of the Council.
YEAR OF ST PAUL
The Pope has called for a year dedicated
to the memory and study of St Paul. To mark this the Diocese
of Shrewsbury have brought out a simple but helpful booklet
giving background about St Paul, with maps of his various
