The Other Half

The Other Half

We have just returned from a day of praise, worship and teaching – a wonderful day of refreshing our spirits.

During the worship time – when the group just led us in continuous songs of praise, no talking! – I had a very special picture from the Lord, which I would like to share with you.

I was in the Throne Room and Jesus and His Father were sitting on their thrones. There was a large space around the thrones and angels were holding back a huge crowd of people who wanted to press closer to their God. At the edge of the crowd there were many people dancing their praise – in fact, everyone was praising God with all their hearts. Suddenly Jesus and Father came down from their thrones and danced in pure happiness, whereupon the angels were no longer able to hold back the crowd and they broke through until the scene was one of dancing, praising people and angels worshipping their God, who danced with them.

After a while the Father and Jesus returned to their thrones and everyone sat down to listen to what the Father would say. It was a strange thing that wherever the people sat, they were at the Father’s feet – really close to Him. I looked around and thought “Where is the Holy Spirit?”, and as I looked I could see that over every head was a flame. The Holy Spirit hovered over every head and as each person opened their heart the flame whooshed in. I looked up and said “What are you doing up there? Please come in.” and He did!

People prostrated themselves in worship. As I looked, the angels moved among the people and they were sad, for they could not receive the Holy Spirit. And the Lord said – “That is the difference between you and an angel. You are created to receive the Holy Spirit.”

So, it has been a wonderful day of drawing close to our Father and realising again that He delights in our praise. I knew that there was a scripture which described Him dancing and this is it, from the Jerusalem translation of Zephaniah 3:17 “He will exult with joy over you, He will renew you with His love; He will dance with shouts of joy for you as on a day of festival”.ALLELUIA!
