The Lord has promised that while the world is in darkness and chaos, not knowing the ways of the Lord, we will be given prophetic words from God. These words will be treasures hidden in the darkness, “secret riches.”(Is. 45v3) These Words will not return empty until they are accomplished!

“Ask me and I will tell you remarkable secrets you do not know about things to come.” (Jer. 33v 3) “ Now I will tell you new things, secrets you have not yet heard. They are brand new, not things from the past. So you cannot say, “We knew that all the time!” Yes I will tell you of things that are entirely new. Things you never heard of before.” (Is. 48V 6-8)

The following prophecy was given to one of the intercessors on the network of intercessors: ‘Listen to the church bells ringing - it has seemed to you that they are tolling a death knell for so many things, but listen again - they are ringing joyfully to call you to prayer and to announce the coming of the King.’

This word is an encouragement not to see as the world sees but to see that the things that are happening are heralding the coming of Our King!

As we “the bride” have a deeper conviction of His return we will cry out “Maranatha Come!” So although we do not know when our King will return, we are being called to pray and announce His coming. I believe that this is one of the secrets from the mind and heart of God! A prophetic word to direct our intercession prayers and our evangelism.

We are in a time of darkness when the prophetic word of God will be our only light! “Lord your word is a light for my feet” Let us continue to wait on the Lord in the secret place and ask Him for His secrets, believing that as we pray, the word of God will not return empty. “Heaven and Earth will pass away but your word oh Lord will last forever.”
