Catholic Charismatic Testimonies: Jenny

Read Jenny's testimony about how Catholic Charismatic Renewal has changed her life.

How did you get involved in Catholic Charismatic Renewal?

At around the age of 5 years-old my children started asking me questions about God and I realised I didn’t know the answers!

I began to wonder why I was bringing them up as Catholics, was it just a tradition handed down from my parents or did it really have meaning for me?

I was invited to an Alpha course by a friend and this opened my eyes to a new understanding of faith. It all started to come together like a jigsaw puzzle.

Following this course I was excited and keen to search in a deeper way and discover what God could do in my life. I took my children, and eventually my husband, to the Celebrate Family Conference which has opened new doors of faith for us all.

What impact has Catholic Charismatic Renewal had on your life?

CCR has helped me learn and grow on the journey of faith and I have found joy and great teaching available for me and my family.

I never realised a personal encounter with Jesus was possible until I met people in the Renewal. My faith has been woken up by the Holy Spirit!
