Francoise tells how the prayer of a friend led her to the Jesus |

Back in 1985 I came to England from France to spend a year as a French assistant in a Catholic school. Although I had a tremendous experience, I felt very empty as my spirit was searching for an anchor. Towards the end of my year abroad, I called at a friend who happened to be a RE teacher and a born-again Christian. She told me she was waiting for me and had been praying for me. I fell from the sky when she told me about the Lord Jesus and Christianity. She laid hands on me and wrote a prayer of commitment to the Lord. I read the prayer before going to bed, to be awaken at 3 am feeling a hand pressing on my chest; I then realised that God existed and was much more powerful than me. I was baptised in the Holy Spirit in Zion Church and started reading the Bible. As My spirit opened up I felt peace and believed that God had a great plan for my life if only I would trust in Him. So I did and in 24 years, He has made His presence felt without interruption and He has guided and scolded me on my way. He has opened doors too and made me encounter some amazing people. May His Holy Name be praised.
